The developers have come back to the table with plans for two ten storey towers, and a third at nine storeys. Still way out of character for a neighbourhood where the current buildings go from single storey to three storeys in height. This will go to public hearing again, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Please keep us posted. It will be interesting to see how Penticton residents respond to this, compared to what typically happens in Kelowna. Here, if it's not approved immediately, it is often approved after token changes. There have been a few exceptions, such as the proposed high density development at Cameron and Gordon, but that certainly is the exception rather than the rule (and that one isn't necessarily over yet either).
