Probably the greatest problem experience by residents of Kelowna is the constantly increasing traffic congestion of the city. This has shown up as the number one concern year after year in the Citizens' Survey. I am providing a link to a letter to the editor of Castanet where yet another city resident blames our traffic woes on a "lack of planning" and suggests that the city make the transportation system its top priority. However, instead of transportation being the top priority of Kelowna city council it seems that the new aquatic centre has become number one for which city council is willing to put the city into debt while at the same time still not knowing where the money will come from to pay for the Central Okanagan Connector. www.castanet.net/edition/news-story-21019-10-.htm#21019
