On Sept. 8, 2006 CHBC reported that 10,000 people in Vernon have seen Al Gore's film on global warming, An Inconvenient Truth, which has been held over for an eight week. With environmental consciousness being very high in that city the Sustainable Environment Network Society is holding a forum to discuss environmentally related topics on the evening of Sept. 20.
