Someone on the Castanet forum identifying themselves as Smurf has posted an opinion which was subsequently published as a letter to the editor calling for growth controls for Vernon. Stating that Vernon is quickly becoming over-populated, Smurf says that "Maybe it's time to slow and even halt our growth." forums.castanet.net/viewtopic.php?t=8555 . If Smurf reads this post and is interested in establishing a group similar to Citizens for Responsible Community Planning (Kelowna), we at CRCP will pledge our help by providing our resources and other assistance to help this group get started and keep going.
