In a recent article in the Kelowna Daily Courier it was stated that "local officials are considering development of an anti-idling bylaw, which would prevent people from unnecessarily leaving their car or truck idling for more than three minutes." If such a bylaw were approved, I guess that would make it illegal to get caught in the frequent traffic jams on Harvey Avenue and elsewhere that have been created by city council's negligence in not controlling local growth.
